X-Ray diagnostics is an unavoidable diagnostic examination because it gives us an insight into structures that are inaccessible to the naked eye. No serious dental examination can be performed without an X-ray diagnosis. There are a number of diseases and pathological phenomena hidden in the bones that don’t create problems or pain for the patient, but if not detected timely, they can lead to major complications and tissue defects.

The safest and lowest dose of radiation is achieved with a 2D X-ray device, which in almost 90% of the cases is sufficient for a correct diagnosis if the doctor has enough experience and knowledge. In cases when there are certain doubts regarding medical reports, the patient can be referred to a more precise 3D X-ray imaging with higher radiation devices, or, if necessary, to magnetic resonance imaging for soft tissue examination.
